Analog Computers
Analog computing is an alternative computing paradigm which is equally old as Turing machines. The initial ideas were developed by Von Neumann. The aim is to use the speed of analog electric circuits to carry out a computation much faster than current fastest computers with transistor technology.
Currently there are several methods to do analog computing,
- Topoelectric circuits and Scattering based computation
- PID computers
- Ising machines
